Candace is a dedicated therapist with 2 years of experience in the mental health field. She holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. Her passion for counseling stemmed from her undergraduate studies and flourished while working with military service members and veterans in higher education.
Candace specializes in supporting individuals navigating trauma and anxiety, particularly those related to sexual assault, military experiences, family dynamics, and life transitions such as divorce, separation, moves, career changes, birth, adoption, etc . She recognizes the unique nature of each person's experience and tailors her approach to foster restoration and growth in a safe and empowering environment.
Candace utilizes a client-centered approach, primarily drawing from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic theory.
