During his undergraduate studies, Brandon worked full-time at a residential shelter for homeless youth, Hearts with a Mission. During this work, Brandon learned how to help those in crisis, found ways to engage in collaborative problem-solving and de-escalate high emotions that can come up during difficult circumstances. Brandon has been involved in the mental health field as a receptionist and intake coordinator for a local substance use agency. He has always been passionate about working in the mental health field and strives to create a safe space for his clients to heal. Brandon has completed training on mandatory reporting, suicidal ideation, and crisis situations. Brandon works with a variety of client factors including anxiety, neurodiversity, grief, infidelity, spiritual challenges, and trauma. He has enjoyed his previous work with a variety of individuals including adolescents, families, adults, and couples.

Brandon joined Rising Phoenix Counseling team in May 2022. Brandon currently offers individual and couples counseling for individuals of all ages.
