Brandon Overstreet completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Southern Oregon University in 2006 where he learned about the connection between the mind and body. His passion for mental health continued to grow as he was working with individuals on their health journeys. Brandon decided to further his education in pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University.

Brandon strives to help others find their path with the intention of offering a safe space where the client can open up to be themselves. Brandon believes that our lives are a compilation of our past experiences which informs how we show up in our current struggles. Brandon strives to understand how pain can influence our emotions and behaviors while recognizing how previous traumas conditions are an avenue for healing. He takes a collaborative approach together with his clients to honor the sacred space that leads to healing and redemption of spirit.

BRANDON'S PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Brandon joined Rising Phoenix Counseling Services in September of 2022 offering individual counseling services for adults in the Rogue Valley. Brandon is excited to work with those who are currently struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. He utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Adlerian Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
