BRANDON'S PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

While still in his undergraduate, Brandon worked full time at a residential shelter for homeless youth, Hearts with a Mission. During this work, Brandon learned how to help those in crisis, found ways to engage in collaborative problem-solving, and de-escalate high emotions that can come up during difficult circumstances. Brandon has been involved in the mental health field as a receptionist and intake coordinator for a local substance use agency and has always been passionate about working in the mental health field. Brandon has completed training on mandatory reporting, suicidal ideation, and crisis situations.

Brandon joined Rising Phoenix Counseling in May of 2022 and offers individual counseling for individuals of all ages with a specialization in adolescents. He works with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, autism, and difficult life transitions. During his current training program, he works closely with the clinical director regarding the individuals he works with to ensure the highest quality of care.
